Downtown Macon Christmas Parade: Macon It a Winter Wonderland

The Downtown Macon Christmas Parade returns on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM with this year's theme, Macon it a Winter Wonderland.

Units line up near Terminal Station at the corner of Cherry and Poplar Streets, and the parade goes rain or shine. It is a long-standing community tradition, and a great way for families to enjoy the season together.

Plan for downtown road closures and arrive early to claim a good viewing spot. Details come from Macon-Bibb County.

Once the last float passes, bring the family to Overtyme Bar & Grill at 2455 Pio Nono Ave to relax. It is a laid-back place to warm up and talk about your favorite floats.
